Long time....

My goodness it's almost a month since I wrote on my blog...I just haven't had the time.Piotr went on holiday and now he is leaving to work in France.Martin, who only stayed a month has gone too...so here I am with very little help..it's true that it has become difficult for me to run everything at the same time! Ingvor has just left for Sweden this morning. She was accompanied by 4 dogs, Ryia, Dani 2, the adorable little Yorkie who is agile and mischievous, Sanou the black panther and our little Gonzalito so tender and alert...They have left their birthplace, four more..and of course I will miss them!It's crazy how empty it makes me feel when a dog departs..above all those at La Higuera, we are living so much in osmosis!On Saturday Berit, my friend Berit from Oslo took to the air with our young Galgo, Carmen, the nobility and elegance of the Galgos..the little prince Juancho and another black panther, Sanou's sister, Josie.....There are just three Pincher sisters left, Olinder, Saine and....Ludwina..I will have no more little black Pinchers as I asked their owner to please sterilize their Mum...he took my advice.
With great sadness I had to put my beloved Galgo, Charlotte to sleep whom I saved from a killing centre in Badajoz 5 years ago.She was 14 years old...the journey to the vets was an extremely difficult one...but Juan the vet as always in such difficult moments was marvelous. I was full of regret , her huge eyes looking at me so sweetly. It is true she had a particular way of looking at me as though she was always asking me something..we had a silent communication...we understood each other.We slept together, her head on my stomach..she knew how to make herself so small and yet I always felt her presence.Last summer she had to be hospitalised for 2 months at the hospital SOS Animales de Malaga because she had an urea infection...She would only survive a further 8 months more.Mickey will take her place but not in the same way.In a few months when I have less dogs I would really like to get my home back and see my family again..but don't think that Julie Rescue will disappear...we are only going to change location. I would love to take in another old female Galgo-to save her and love her...whether from the Mancha or Badajoz where Charlotte came from....I remember it was my friend Carina Stokung who went to look for the MRW (special dog transport) in Almunecar as I was absent the day she arrived...Carina, if you read this do you remember?A brown beauty (here they say red) who had a small problem with her paw.I shall have to learn to live without her, without her beautiful eyes looking at me, without her sweet face which only Galgos have and which only those who have had Galgos know.... I love ALL dogs as you know but I have a real passion for Galgos.

Thank you Mina, I know that you know the evil couple very well and all that they are capable of.They do not frighten me, everyone reads the blog here even the police to whom I have given a translator.They have tried to knock Bayley with the wheels of their car but they felt they were being watched and so they stopped.I cannot believe that I could ever have been intimate with these people..such small minded people..who needed me all the time to help them translate because they speak no Spanish...I believe her to be more deceitful and nasty than him because she believes she is the more intelligent!They moan about and criticise their friends, you have seen how they were with with.She spends the day in bed or on the telephone..luckily they have Skype!But what a life they have, locked up in their house, few friends visit them, I receive warm gestures from these friends...and while shopping many Swedes speak to me, it happened just now at Lidl...They will tire quicker than I dear friend, I am a hard nut to crack!Happy EasterJulie

Last minute news....This morning Hayo, who was playing ball with Bayley, discovered something macabre...a dead rat which had been thrown in the neighbouring field where from time to time Bayley goes to lie in the sunshine, although he is doing it less often, sensing danger and prefers to stay close to the house.The rat had been poisoned but firstly killed in a trap as you can see the mark from the blow. After the trap came the coating of death for rats...A pink POISON which is sold here to kill rats and mice.But this isn't the first time they have used this poison. Some years ago they asked their gardener to lay poison down...and their tenants' dog, yet another tenant,died from poisoning. With the help of the Swedish community, many of whom can't stand my neighbours, I am going to try and find this charming couple who were given no compensation, no sorries, no words of regret. Just like when their son killed my little Joy....I can only accuse my neighbour, he hates Bayley, just as he hates all my dogs, otherwise he wouldn't have demonstrated such a fury against them, making use of the TV.I am in shock.. very emotional about what might have happened.God often protects my dogs...and me too !...I am going to the Guardia Civil to lodge a complaint and a complaint by name...because IN jANUARY has told Ingvor about his wish to bring our dear Bayley's days to an end. Pelle and my neigbours on learning that the sanctions were not strong enough for me have once again made a complaint to the Swedish Ambassador...yes...what do you think of that? I'll let you find the words.If the latter doesn't reach your imagination then I will help you.....Harrassment and Harrassment...My neighbours have already said they want to kill me, me and my organisation...So yesterday the autonomous police from the Junta came back...they had already been to see me on Wednesday morning but I wasn't there..I returned just as they were leaving when 'the neighbour' was giving them a big envelope..don't tell me that wasn't planned????? I know now what the envelope contained, among other things, the videos, always the videos which they no longer hand out in the streets because they are frightened of being seen...So the police came yesterday at 10 o'clock..my lawyer was waiting for them...and there you go..confirmation of a new complaint by my neighbours...Again the same questions as in 2006..the same police officers..They were surprised to read about the Ministry's decision..they didn't know about it..Of course I can send dogs to Sweden and Norway etc ...... Once again they want to plant the seeds of panic, of psychosis. They want me and my dogs to disappear from the face of this earth...But you know me well, don't you?Life here has become quite funny for me..they are suffocating, locked up in their Alcatraz as Ingvor said..Ingvor who has witnessed so many things at La Higuera..The 'over friendly' dinner on the 8th March 2008..The threats to kill Bayley..Oh yes I forgot to mention that they told the police that Bayley bites..how we laughed with the police..the Police Chief asked me 'Is this the dog who bites?' It's strange..Bayley is 7 years old. For 7 years he has seen my neighbours and has never tried to bite them and now he does???!!!Some Danish tenants ( I have their photos) haunt the surroundings of La Higuera but daren't go to my neighbours house because, of course, my neighbours have never had tenants...so these tenants who were frightened of dogs (they are renting elsewhere at the moment) have thrown stones and hit poor Bailey with sticks. Nevertheless Bailey is still a brave dog and watches over me at night and faithful as ever waits for me to return every evening. Beautiful Bailey.Julie I didn't report it at the time because they had been my friends for over 18 years.

I told you that at La Higuera we are living our lives as if it were a serialized novel...my neighbours, always my neighbours, who have such hatred toward me, they who started this scandal..yes, this couple who want to be without reproach, because, being Swedish,they are backed up by your dear TV, they believe they are allowed to do anything, so these neighbours have tried to bribe my two volunteers, Piotr and Martin,by offering them wine to make them talk. Is this commonplace in your country?After all I didn't know this Pelle....and I lived very well without him and without knowing the sound of his voice..Only my neighbours knew people from this TV channel where Pelle acts ruthlessly.With the support of my neighbours this individual has 'tried' to destroy me, destroy us.The latest news from La Higuera? Do you know that they walked through the streets of Almunecar handing out videos of the programme whose name I have forgotten...but you know it.The Guardia Civil came one evening to notify them of my complaint ...so they stopped but now they are handing out the two videos from their home. The Swedish Ministry has asked their Spanish counterpart to investigate me, the vets and the laboratories etc.No one has anything to reproach so they continue to lie, to slander me, to prevent my dogs from leaving.To my neighbours and Pelle - What is it you want? What do you want ? That all my animals are put down??? If that's the case then I will film the carnage live, YOUR carnage and I will make YOU responsible, you and everyone who through your lies, your slander and your vengeance will have allowed these horrors.Why me?The vengeance of my neighbours, of which everyone is aware , even the Animal Police who have done nothing against me, SUCH WAS THE ENORMITY OF WHAT EVERYONE HAS SAID ...IN 2007 , in order to be able to begin the construction of Cantalobo I gave my organisation, Animales de Andalucia, to Cantalobo...therefore I no longer have the association as it is now at Cantalobo..and Cantalobo isn't open..so while awaiting its opening I have had to find a protection society in Andalucia with the help of the Spanish Ministry. Therefore all the dogs will leave in the name of the other protecton society...that's the only change.During all this time the cost of the trips has gone up but we already have two trips planned and we are preparing for two or three more.What's more, I have had some terrible moments but without a doubt not as bad as my neighbouers and the vet A Pontes are going to have.I have received so much sympathy and so much support..I thank you all. Believe me when I tell you that our dearest wish is for our dogs to experience a welcoming home. I say 'our' because I have a fantastic Julie Rescue team in Sweden and Norway and they are inimitable. I take my hat off to them.
